The New England regional airline will use gate B15 in the central terminal at the airport for "exceptional convenience," and will fly the new Tecnam P2012 Traveller on the route, offering passengers "a modern, stylish, and highly-capable twin-engine aircraft perfect for connecting short hops to Boston," according to a news release.
The Hyannis, MA-based airline has been one of the largest commuter airlines in the United States, serving 34 cities in the US and the Caribbean since 1989. It has grown from three flights a day between Provincetown and Boston in 1989 to a fleet of 98 aircraft, offering more than 300 flights a day, and carrying around 400,000 passengers annually.

In November, Breeze started flying directly from Islip to Sarasota, FL.
In early 2025, New York State committed to invest a "transformational" $150 million to connect the Long Island Rail Road’s Ronkonkoma Station with the proposed $40 million North Terminal at MacArthur Airport, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced.
