Centereach Bicycle Burglar Sped Away With $300 Worth Of Jewelry: PD
Detectives say the burglar climbed through a unlocked rear window of a Holbrook Road home on March 23 and stole $300 worth of jewelry.

CENTEREACH, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a burglar who broke into a Centereach home in March and then made a getaway on a bicycle.
Detectives say the person climbed through the unlocked rear window of a home on Holbrook Road on March 23 between noon and 9 p.m and stole jewelry valued at $300.

Police are also seeking information about a second burglary in Setauket from last year.
In that burglary, a person or group of people went inside of a home on West Meadow Road through a window sometime between Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. and Sept. 4 at 11:30 a.m. and stole over $10,000 worth of jewelry.

Investigators do not believe the two burglaries are related.
