Chick-Fil-A Is Coming To Farmingville In Former Kmart Shopping Center
Construction and renovation continues at the Expressway Plaza Shopping Center; Chick-Fil-A will join Burlington and Five Below.

FARMINGVILLE, NY — A new Chick-Fil-A is coming to Farmingville. The chicken fast food chain is looking to open its eighth Long Island location in the Expressway Plaza Shopping Center, at the intersection of Portion Rd and County Road 83.
Brookhaven Town Councilman Kevin J. LaValle posted on Facebook that the shopping center owners recently presented a plan to open a Chick-Fil-A to the Farmingville Residents Association.
"The residents who attended the meeting had positive feedback towards the developers," he reported.

The former Kmart has been replaced with a Burlington store and a Five Below discount store is opening soon.
The building's facade was renovated and the parking lot improved.

There are currently Chick-fil-A restaurants in Port Jefferson Station, Smithtown, Commack and Garden City. The chain continues to expand across the Island.
