Circle Of Dance Showcases Students’ New Skills

First grade students at Merrimac Elementary School recently performed several choreographed dances for an audience of family and friends as part of the Circle of Dance program.

During the program, students learned essential dance skills, such as balance, coordination and flexibility, while memorizing each of their individualized dance routines. Working together through eight practice sessions, students also learned the importance of teamwork and collaboration while working to perfect their routines.
