Dan Panico To Treat Joseph Saladino To Lunch In Mastic, Honoring LI Championship Game Bet
Chiefs beat the Colonials 42-to-40 but supervisor jokes, "There is, however, going to be a different outcome next year."

FARMINGVILLE, NY — The friendly bet between town supervisors Dan Panico and Joseph Saladino over the outcome of the Long Island Division 1 football championship game will soon be settled.
Brookhaven Supervisor Panico sent out a hearty congratulations to Oyster Bay Supervisor Joseph Saladino after Massapequa High School's Chiefs beat William Floyd's Colonials 42-to-40 on Saturday at Stony Brook University.
Saladino congratulated his team on their back-to-back win.

As agreed, Panico will treat Saladino to lunch at Mama Lisa’s Italian Restaurant in Mastic, and he will make a generous donation to his colleague in government's designated charity, Long Island Cares.
“There is, however, going to be a different outcome next year,” Panico said, jokingly.
