Farmingville Hills Chamber Offering $500 Scholarship

The Farmingville Hills Chamber of Commerce is offering a $500 scholarship to one graduating senior from Sachem High School East.

To be eligible, the student must be: 

• Attending an accredited college, vocational, or trade school in the fall (if selected, they will need to provide us with a letter of acceptance from the school they plan to attend).

To enter, the student must: 

• Record a 3-5 minute video telling us what they can do to "make a difference" in the Farmingville Community.
• Upload the video to Youtube.com and tag the video with the keywords: Farmingville, Chamber, Make a Difference
• Share the link on the Chamber's Facebook page Facebook.com/FarmingvilleHillsChamber  (They need to "Like" the Farmingville Hills Chamber in order to post a link.)
• The 5 Facebook posts with the most "likes" from their friends, family and strangers, will advance to the final stage where the Chamber will select a winner. 

All uploads and links must be shared by Friday, April 13th. The winner will be chosen by Friday, April 20th. The winner will be notified by email and will be announced on the Chamber's Facebook page.
