Fire Breaks Out At Farmingville Home: Police

FARMINGVILLE, NY — A fire broke out at a Farmingville home late Wednesday, drawing area firefighters, Suffolk police said.

The fire started at the Morris Avenue home just before 10 p.m., but all the residents got out safely, police said, adding that no one was injured.

The Farmingville Fire Department was able to contain the fire, police said.

In addition to the fire department, the Brookhaven Fire Marshal responded to the scene, according to police.

It was one of two fires to break out within a day in the Sachem area.
