Garbage Truck Catches Fire In Holtsville
Firefighters responded to a Winter Brothers garbage truck on fire.
No one was injured when a garbage truck caught fire in Holtsville this weekend, fire officials said.
The Holtsville Fire Department responded to the call of a Winter Brothers garbage truck on fire Saturday.
"Engine 6 quickly arrived on scene and extinguished the fire with the assistance of Engine 3," the department said. "EMS is on scene for standby during the incident. Members are still operating at this time."
