Spotlight on Local Creativity: Inspirations Center Musical Theater Workshops Inspire Kids to Shine

This fall, children across Long Island will have the chance to step into the spotlight through the Inspirations Center Musical Theater Workshop, a joyful and inclusive program designed for ages 6–10. Hosted in Farmingville, the workshop blends acting, music, and movement in a welcoming environment where every child can grow in confidence and creativity.

Led by experienced educators with a passion for the arts and inclusive education, the program meets weekly on Sundays from September 7 through December 14, culminating in a fully staged performance of Seussical Kids. The curriculum not only teaches performance skills but also nurtures social-emotional development and team-building.

“Inspirations Center was created to celebrate the unique potential of every child,” says Dr. Angela Austin, founder. “Our musical theater workshops offer a safe space for kids of all abilities to express themselves, make new friends, and experience the magic of storytelling on stage.”

The fall session is just the beginning—Inspirations Center is proud to offer musical theater workshop series year-round, with new shows, themes, and opportunities to perform each season.

In addition to arts programming, Inspirations Center also provides special education advocacy and family support services to help families navigate their educational journeys. These services are designed to empower caregivers, connect them with resources, and ensure that children receive the support they need both in and out of school.

Workshop Details:

Dates: September 7 – December 14
Time: Sundays, 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Session Location: 1070 Portion Road, Farmingville, NY
Performance: December 19th

The program welcomes all children who have a love for the arts, offering individualized support to ensure every young performer can thrive on stage.
