Long Island Man Yelled Racially Offensive Language At Woman, Threatened Her: Police
The woman has been walking her dog outside an apartment complex, when he followed her and raised his fist, and Suffolk police say.
HOLBROOK, NY — A 64-year-old Holbrook man shouted racially offensive language at a woman while following and threatening her earlier this month, Suffolk police said.
The woman was walking her dog outside an apartment complex on Broadway Avenue in Holbrook on Oct. 1 just before 10 a.m., when he shouted racially offensive language at her, police said, adding, that as the woman tried to walk away, he followed her, raising his fist toward her in a physically threatening manner.
The man was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment following an investigation by Hate Crimes Unit detectives and 5th Precinct Crime Section officers, police said.

He was issued a desk appearance ticket and will be arraigned at a later date.
