Long Island Man Experiences Medical Event, SUV Crashes Into Tree And Catches Fire: Police
The 55-year-old Commack man was able to escape from the vehicle and was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment, cops say.
HOLTSVILLE, NY — A 55-year-old Commack man experienced a medical episode while driving a 2012 GMC Yukon on Blue Point Road in Holtsville and his vehicle struck a tree before catching fire on Tuesday night, Suffolk police said.
He was able to escape from the vehicle and was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment, according to police.
It happened at about 8:30 p.m., police said.
