Man Arrested for Driving With 53 License Suspensions

His license has been suspended 53 times on 11 different dates, police say.

FARMINGVILLE, NY – A 39-year-old was arrested for driving with 53 license suspensions in Farmingville Tuesday night, Suffolk Police said.

Kesley Blair was driving a 2009 Dodge van westbound on Portion Road, near Holbrook Road, when a Sixth Precinct officer initiated a traffic stop at approximately 8:40 p.m. after a license plate reader indicated the vehicle’s owner has a suspended license, police said.

A check of Blair’s license revealed 53 suspensions on 11 different dates, police said. Blair’s van was impounded for a safety check.

Blair, of Farmingville, was arrested and charged with first degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He posted bail at the Sixth Precinct and will be arraigned on a later date.
