Man Charged With Possession Of Crack Cocaine In Suffolk: Police
The man was stopped while driving at a high speed and changing lanes without turn signaling on the Long Island Expressway, police say.
HOLTSVILLE, NY — A man was arrested in connection with possession of crack cocaine on Saturday morning in Holtsville, Suffolk police said.
A member of the Suffolk County Police Street Takeover Task Force observed a 2010 Infiniti G37
traveling westbound on the Long Island Expressway, between Exits 61 and 62, traveling at a high rate of speed and changing lanes without signaling, around midnight, police said.
The officer stopped the vehicle and during the traffic stop, the officer found that the driver, Anthony Cucuzzo, 44, of Holbrook, was in possession of crack cocaine, police said. The driver also had a suspended driver’s license and registration, police said.

Cucuzzo was arrested and transported to the Sixth Precinct, police said. He was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and was also issued multiple vehicle and traffic law citations, police said.
He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Feb. 27. The vehicle was impounded.
