Man Seriously Injured In ATV Crash
The 45-year-old was not wearing a helmet, police say.
HOLBROOK, NY – A 45-year-old man was seriously injured after he fell off an ATV he was riding in Holbrook Sunday morning.
According to Suffolk Police, Joseph DeMarie was riding Yamaha ATV without a helmet on Glen Summer Road near Sherwood Lane when he apparently lost control of the vehicle and fell to the ground at about 11:45 a.m.
DeMarie, who lives on Glen Summer Road, was transported via a Holbrook Fire Department ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries.
