Motorcyclist Dies In Suffolk Crash Wednesday Night: Police

He lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a guardrail, police say.

UPTON, NY — A motorcyclist died after crashing into a guardrail on William Floyd Parkway Wednesday, police said.

According to Suffolk County Police, the crash took place on the northbound William Floyd Parkway near Express Drive North at about 5:45 p.m.

Donald Crispi, 57, of Ridge, was driving the 2014 three-wheel Harley Davidson when he lost control of the motorcycle, police said. He was airlifted by police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The motorcycle was impounded for a safety check.
