Motorist Robbed Changing Vehicle Tire On Veterans Memorial Highway In Ronkonkoma: Police
The man was cut on his neck but refused medical attention at the scene, Suffolk police say.
RONKONKOMA, NY — A man changing the tire of his vehicle at the side of Veterans Memorial Highway in Ronkonkoma was robbed late Friday night, Suffolk police said.
The man was trying to change his tire at around 11:20 p.m., when he was approached by two males who caused a laceration to his neck with a "sharp object" and made off with his cash, according to police.
He refused medical attention at the scene.
