New ALDI Discount Grocery Store Coming To Long Island
A new Aldi discount supermarket will be opening on Long Island this year, offering a wide range of low-priced groceries and home products.
LAKE RONKONKOMA, NY — A new Aldi supermarket is celebrating is opening on Long Island this year, a store representative told Patch.
Aldi regional vice president Chris Daniels said their first Lake Ronkonkoma store "is expected to open this summer." Daniels said he didn't have an exact opening date yet.
The new Aldi will be located at 153 Ronkonkoma Ave., which previously housed King Kullen.

Aldi stores offer a wide range of groceries and other products, including organic produce, exclusive brands, gluten-free and plant-based options and curbside pickup and grocery delivery options.
The store will join the chain's 15 other locations on Long Island.
