North's Kate Kuerner Commits to Stony Brook
Will play Division I lacrosse for Seawolves with her sister.

Sachem North senior Kate Kuerner has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Stony Brook next year, according to Sachem coach Ed Manly.
Kuerner will join her sister Kelly, who will be a freshman this year with the Seawolves.
Stony Brook is in the process of revitalizing its program. Having hired Long Island native and former Adelphi women’s lacrosse coach Joe Spallina, they have instant credibility and should be a force in the America East Conference.

"We are extremely excited and proud of Kate,” Manly said. “She is going to help Stony Brook become a perennial competitor with the addition of coach Spallina. Getting a chance to play with her sister Kelly will be an amazing experience."
Last year Kuerner was an honorable mention All-Sachem Patch selection.
