Overnight Closure Coming To LI Expressway In Town Of Brookhaven
A stretch of the Long Island Expressway is set to be closed overnight one night next week for bridge maintenance.
TOWN OF BROOKHAVEN, NY — Overnight closures are coming to the eastbound Long Island Expressway in the Town of Brookhaven, the New York State Department of Transportation announced Friday.
The right and center lanes of the eastbound Long Island Expressway are set to be closed at Exit 62 (Nicolls Road/Suffolk County Route 97) on Tuesday, beginning at 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning, to facilitate bridge maintenance. The work will be done weather permitting.
