Gabby Petito Memorial On LI Expected To Draw 1000s: Funeral Home
Traffic congestion is expected near the Moloney Family Funeral Home in Holbrook on Sunday between 12 and 5 p.m. as mourners gather.

HOLBROOK, NY — Thousands are expected to attend the memorial for Gabrielle Petito on Long Island on Sunday, according to the Moloney Family Funeral Home.
The service, which is open to the public, will run at the Holbrook locations from 12 to 5 p.m.
Suffolk Police are advising motorists passing through the area “to use alternate routes.”

There will be “periodic traffic restrictions” on Main Street between Broadway Avenue and Furrows Road, police said. “Attendees for the memorial service, as well as patrons of businesses along the section of Main Street, are encouraged to enter from the Furrows Road side of Main Street,” police said in a statement issued Saturday.
Petito, 22, was found slain in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming last Sunday. Petito was memorialized in Blue Point and Selden on Friday at candlelight vigils. There was also a butterfly release on Saturday in North Port, FL, where she lived for the past two years.

A massive manhunt is underway for her fiancé, Brian Laundrie, who was last seen Sept. 14 at his parents’ home in North Port. An arrest warrant was issued after an indictment was unveiled, alleging he fraudulently used Petito’s bank account and withdrew over $1,000.
