Peer Education Students Share Words Of Wisdom

Sachem High School North freshmen recently gathered for a powerful assembly program led by seniors in Jon Chiaramonte’s peer education class, who shared encouraging insight on managing the emotions students encounter in high school.

As part of the assembly, seniors showed photos from their freshman year and spoke of how they have been resilient and grown during their time as Sachem students, overcoming obstacles in their path.

The freshmen spoke also about how they’ve grown since middle school, and resources were identified that are available to students in a time of need.
