PSEG Employees Make Brunch For Families At Ronald McDonald House
PSEG employees bring meals to families at the Ronald McDonald House.

PSEG Long Island employees took a break from keeping the lights on to help brighten the day for families at the Ronald McDonald House.
Employees from PSEG Long Island's Women's Network participated in the Meals from the Heart program at the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island in New Hyde Park.
The group, which included Jennifer Popkin of Farmingville, arrived at the guest house with eggs, cheese, fruits and vegetables, breads and muffins to prepare brunch for 50 residents.

Eleven volunteers prepared a brunch for families staying at the house, making French toast, egg and cheese soufflé, muffins, fresh fruit and a tossed garden salad.
“The opportunity to prepare and serve a meal to someone who needs relief has been such a meaningful, personal experience,” said PSEG Long Island Women’s Network President Tricia Faltings, first-time RMHLI volunteer. “These families shouldn’t have to worry about where their next meal will come from. They have more challenging issues to deal with.”
