Quartet Skipped Out On IHOP Bill In Lake Ronkonkoma: Police

LAKE RONKONKOMA, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in identifying four people they say left before paying the bill at IHOP in Lake Ronkonkoma earlier this month.
The quartet failed to pay for their meal at the Portion Road restaurant on Sept. 8 at around 12:30 p.m., according to police.
The incident has been classified as theft of service, which is a misdemeanor, police said.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, a confidential police hotline, using a mobile app, which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips.
