SACHEM, NY — Without community leaders, Sachem wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to recognize these often unsung community leaders and celebrate their contributions.

Maria has assisted so many people in our community — not just me — build their confidence and understand the best ways to find employment in today's job market.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

Maria makes you feel like you can achieve anything. She's invested in your success and is quick to respond when you need help. We need more people like Maria who have the ability to move people's job searches forward. Maria reaches out to both encourage and motivate you when she feels you need it. Her Boot Camp program which was recommended to me by a former participant saved me. Her program should be supported by our community and available to all job seekers.
