Two teenagers are missing from Suffolk after taking the train to Manhattan. A police officer who died of COVID-19 will be laid to rest today in Ronkonkoma.

  1. Two teenagers from Manorville have been missing since last Thursday. Vincent Abolafia and his girlfriend, Kaileigh Catalano, both 15, were last seen at the Ronkonkoma LIRR station planning to take a 3:11 p.m. train to Manhattan. They may have been seen in Times Square. (Patch)
  2. A road closure is scheduled for Monday in Ronkonkoma for the funeral of Nassau County Police Officer Hector Nunez who died from COVID-19. Portion Road will be closed in both directions between Holbrook Road and Avenue A from 9 a.m. to noon. (Patch)
  3. Someone stole the lights off the Farmingville Christmas tree last week in Triangle Park. The Farmingville Fire Department replaced them in time for Sunday's annual tree lighting. (Patch)
