Sachem High School East Cheer Team Claims 2nd Class A Section XI Title

FARMINGVILLE, NY — The Sachem High School East High Cheer Team claimed the Class A Section XI Championship recently, marking their second consecutive Section XI title, school district officials said.

After a dominant winter season that included three first-place finishes, the team secured the number one overall ranking, and made history with their first-ever victory at the Universal Cheer Association regionals, further cementing their status as a top-tier competitive cheerleading program.

The team travels to Binghamton on March 8 to defend their 2024 state championship title.
