Sandy's Garden Center In Farmingville Closing

Sandy's Garden Center, a family owned garden shop in Farmingville, announced it will be closing this week.

Sandy's opened in Farmingville at 1027 Horseblock Rd. a decade ago and has a main location in Mastic in the Forge River Nursery.

"We are sad to say we have finally reached the time to dig up our roots and move ourselves to Mastic in the Forge River Nursery," the garden shop wrote on Facebook. "We are so grateful to the Farmingville community for coming to us for their gardening needs over the past decade!"

The store announced a 50-percent off moving sale.
