"Station Yards is quickly becoming one of the most dynamic developments on Long Island," Sobel said. "Playa Bowls' addition to the project perfectly fits the area's growing community and focus on health and wellness."

The developer behind Station Yards, Tritec, was represented by Maria Valanzano, Steve D'Orazio, and Jake Horowitz of Colliers.

"We only have a few available spaces left in the current phase of this exciting mixed-use, transit-oriented environment," Valanzano said. "We are proud to fill one of those spaces with Playa Bowls, a tenant that aligns perfectly with the vision of Station Yards as a vibrant, community-focused destination. We welcome them to the development and look forward to their positive impact."

Tritec Development Manager Meaghan Coughlan Treat also said she was excited about the business joining the community.

"We are so thankful that Playa Bowls chose Station Yards as their home," she said. "They bring a delicious and healthy option to our community, representing a lifestyle, energy, and appeal that helps Station Yards grow as an extraordinary destination."

Once complete, the development will include 1,450 residential units, 360,000 square feet of office space, and 195,000 square feet of retail space. The first phase, Alston Station Yards, delivered 489 residential units in 2020, while the second phase, The Core, will introduce another 388 homes, expand retail and office spaces by 67,000 and 16,500 square feet, respectively, and include a public plaza next to more than 1,200 parking spaces.
