Stabbing Reported From Medical Office In Farmingville: Police
He told officers it happened in Bellport earlier and declined hospital treatment, as well as to press charges, Suffolk police say.
LONG ISLAND, NY — A male walked into a medical office in Farmingville, seeking treatment for a stab wound on Tuesday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
Officers were alerted to the stabbing by a call from the North Ocean Avenue medical office at around 2:19 p.m., police said, adding that the victim, told them that the stabbing took place while he was walking to his car on Provost Avenue in Bellport earlier in the day.
His injuries were described as not serious, and he declined to be transported to the hospital for further treatment, according to police.
