Suspect Sought In Hit-And-Run In Suffolk: Police
It happened in the parking lot of 7-Eleven on Middle Country Road on Jan. 23, police say.
SELDEN, NY — Suffolk detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect they say bolted from the scene of a crash in Selden last month, police said Monday.
A man was driving a dark-colored Jeep in the parking lot of 7-Eleven on Middle Country Road, when it struck a Honda CRV on Jan. 23 at around 10:34 p.m. and then left the scene, according to police.
In an image from security video, the man can be seen wearing dark-colored pants, as well as a hooded sweatshirt, and a plaid jacket. He also had glasses on.

Detectives are investigating the crime as leaving the scene of a crash without reporting, a misdemeanor.
