Suspect Wanted In Connection With Using Swiped Credit Card In Ronkonkoma: Police

It was stolen from a vehicle in a parking lot on Peconic Street in Ronkonkoma between Sept. 21 and Sept. 22, Suffolk police say.

LAKE RONKONKOMA, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in finding the man they say used a stolen credit card at a gas station in Ronkonkoma.

A man used a stolen credit card at BP on Rosevale Avenue on Sept. 22 at around 10:30 p.m., and the card had been stolen from a vehicle parked in a parking lot on Peconic Street in Ronkonkoma sometime overnight between Sept. 21 and Sept. 22, according to police.

In images pulled from security video, the suspect can be seen wearing dark-colored jeans, and an all-black, hooded sweatshirt, as well as white sneakers.

The crime has been classified as grand larceny, a felony.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
