Swiped Credit Card Info Used In Apple AirPods Purchase At Selden Target: Police

The suspect picked up the items on Nov. 27, Suffolk cops say.

SELDEN, NY — Suffolk police are looking for a suspect they say used another person’s credit card information to make a purchase at Target in Selden in November.

A man used stolen credit card information to make an online purchase for AirPods from Target at Independence Plaza, on Nov. 27, according to police.

The man then picked them up later that day just after 10 p.m. and left the store in a dark blue Honda Accord, police said.

The crime has been classified identity theft.
