Where they live: Glen Cove, N.Y., but grew up in Farmingville, N.Y.

What they do: The Sachem graduate from the Class of 1998 works as an Account Specialist at The NPD Group, a market research company in Port Washington.  “I work with Wall Street analysts at investment banks, hedge funds, and private equity firms, that track companies in the Video games/toys/restaurants spaces,” she said. “We provide them with retail sales data, which they use to make decisions on buying/selling stocks.”

How long on Twitter: 2 years

What they like about Twitter:  “I like that it's a one-stop shop.  I can get news on current events, celebrities, entertainment, local happenings, etc., in addition to updates on friends, all in one website.  I also like that it's real-time, so I can get breaking news as soon as it happens. And finally, I just like having a way to express my thoughts on life to the rest of the world, just in case they care :).”
