Woman Arrested After Robbing 7-Eleven At Knifepoint
A K-9 officer tracked her to her apartment right down the street, police say.
RONKONKOMA, NY – A woman was arrested after she robbed a Ronkonkoma 7-Eleven at knifepoint early Tuesday, police said.
Heather Lee, 29, entered the 7-Eleven at 450 Peconic St., displayed a knife and demanded cash from an employee at the counter at about 1:10 a.m., police said.
The employee complied and Lee fled the scene on foot, police said.

A Canine Section officer tracked Lee to her apartment at 500 Peconic St. where she was arrested at 1:44 a.m., police said.
Fifth Squad detectives charged Lee with first degree robbery. She was held overnight at the Fifth Precinct and was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip Tuesday.
