Woman's iPhone Swiped Off Of Counter At Target In Selden: Police

It happened at about 6:20 p.m. on Saturday, Suffolk police say.

SELDEN, NY — A woman had her iPhone swiped off a self-checkout counter at Target in Selden on Saturday, Suffolk police said.

A woman reported placing the cell phone on the counter at the Independence Plaza store, and an unknown man picked up the phone and left the store around 6:20 p.m., according to police.

In an image pulled from security video, the man can be seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a black baseball cap and sunglasses.

The crime has been classified petty larceny, a misdemeanor.
