SAVYILLE, NY – Susan Sessa was in her car in a Sayville parking lot ready to leave when a man driving an SUV attempted to pull into the empty space next to her. The SUV struck Sessa's car.

Sessa and the other driver got out of their vehicles to check for any damage. Just a few scuff marks.

We'll let Sessa tell it.

"He kept apologizing and saying he thought he had more room. I said no worries and no damage. He felt so bad because he said look there’s a scratch. I said listen I can still drive the car. No damage.

"Then he saw the case to my sideview mirror was gone and I told him someone had taken it, that he didn’t do it. He said well let me pay to have it fixed. I said, you didn’t do it! I said let’s just hug and take a selfie for Facebook. We did.

"He took money and shoved it in my hand and said this is to fix the mirror because you were so nice about this. I refused. He insisted. We hugged again. I drove off thinking, 'There are good people out there and I met one of them.' I smiled all day."
