Brownstones Coffee To Open Sayville Location On Friday
The daytime restaurant is expected to open next month.

SAYVILLE, NY — Sayville residents will have another spot to enjoy a delicious brunch or cup of coffee.
Brownstones Coffee, a local daytime restaurant chain, will open a location at 229 West Main Street in Sayville this Friday, said Carol D'Angelo, the business's director of operations.
Located at the former home of the Sea Crest diner, the 3,000-square-foot restaurant will be the chain's fifth location.

Father-son duo Manny and Chris Kourounis founded the first location in Amityville more than 13 years ago, D'Angelo told Patch.
Since then, the family expanded its restaurants to West Islip, East Northport, and Centereach.

A Sayville location was a long-time dream, said D'Angelo.
"They love Sayville," she said. "We've been looking for locations forever in that area. We just think it's such a wonderful village."
A Brooklyn native, Manny designed and named the restaurants after iconic brownstone buildings from the borough.
"It's a 1920s inspired decor," said D'Angelo. "Even though we have five locations. It's still Mom and Pop-ish."
Manny even hand makes each Brownstone Coffee's "time machines", placed inside each location.
Customers are fond of its menu's varied options, such as omelettes, specialty lattes, French toast, pancakes, waffles, paninis, and salads.

Bethpage Federal Credit Union listed Brownstones Coffee to have the "Best French Toast" on Long Island for this year and in 2021.
"Everyone loves our French toast bites," said D'Angelo.
Brownstones Coffee also serves a variety of flavored mimosas. The Sayville location has not yet received its liquor license, but it is "happening soon."
The restaurant also posted about the new location on social media on Monday, which read: "See You Soon Sayville."
The Sayville location can expect to open at about 9 a.m. on Friday.
