Child Pornography Charges For Long Island Man: Police
A Long Island man was arrested after possessing child pornography and promoting a sexual performance of a child, Suffolk police say.

BLUE POINT, NY — A Blue Point man was arrested for possessing child pornography in July, according to Suffolk County police.
Nicholas Riggio, 19, was arrested at his home on Montauk Highway on July 23 and charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child under 16, both felonies, police said.
Police said the arrest happened after police followed a tip from police in Lafayette, IN, and executed a search warrant that revealed images depicting child pornography on a cell phone at the residence.

Police said was held overnight at the Sixth Precinct and is slated to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday.
