Murder Victim Found On LI Beach Identified: Police

The body of a man who'd been stabbed to death was found on a Long Island beach Tuesday morning, Suffolk County police say.

BLUE POINT, NY — The body of a man who'd been stabbed to death was found on a Long Island beach early Tuesday morning, Suffolk County police told Patch.

Police said they responded to a report of a body on a beach at the end of Blue Point Avenue around 6:30 a.m.

The body of Carlos Lopez, 27, of Central Islip, was lying on the beach with stab wounds, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
