Don't Miss: Blessing of the Animals Service in Sayville
Feast of St. Francis of Assisi Celebration starts at 10:15 a.m. at Common Ground.
This Sunday the Sayville Congregational United Church of Christ will hold a very special service that welcomes humans as well as two-legged, four-legged and no-legged pets to participate.
The church will worship on the Sayville Common Ground, located a block southwest of the church, at 10:15 am on October 6 in a celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi with a Blessing of the Animals.
Attendees are advised to bring your folding chairs and crowd-comfortable pets, as members sing, pray, and no doubt laugh during what will be a truly wild service.
