Hate Crime Detectives Seeking Man Who Stole Rainbow Pride Flag

OAKDALE, NY – Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Hate Crimes Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who stole a pride flag from a residence in Oakdale earlier this month.
According to police, the man stole a USA rainbow pride flag that was hanging on a pole outside 251 Vanderbilt Boulevard on July 4 at about 4 a.m. The man was described as white and between 6-foot-1 and 6-foot-3.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
