Knifepoint Robber Arrested In Suffolk: Police

A man was arrested for robbing a Blue Point store at knifepoint on Saturday morning, police say.

According to authorities, Joseph Arcuri, 31, of Blue Point, entered 7-Eleven, located at 49 Montauk Highway, displayed a knife and demanded cash at 3:33 a.m. He fled the scene with proceeds, police say.

Arcuri was located nearby by police dog McClane and a canine officer and was placed under arrest. He was charged with first-degree robbery.

Arcuri will be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Central Islip.
