New Bowling Alley Opens On Long Island

A Long Island bowling alley has been rebranded and revamped into a new one, offering leagues, party planning, food, arcade games and a bar.

SAYVILLE, NY – There's a new bowling alley on Long Island.

Lucky Strike Sayville opened in late May in the old Bowlero location at 5660 Sunrise Hwy.

In addition to reserved lanes, Lucky Strike offers bowling leagues, party planning and hosting, food, arcade games and a bar.

The nationwide chain is revamping and rebranding Bowleros across the country after announcing its rebranding as Lucky Strike Entertainment in December 2024.

According to its website, Lucky Strike Entertainment has over 360 locations across North America and provides experiential offerings in bowling, amusements, water parks and family entertainment centers. The company also owns the Professional Bowlers Association, the "major league" of bowling.

In a statement, Lucky Strike said the branding "reflects the company’s evolution and commitment to offering a broader range of entertainment experiences, expanding beyond traditional bowling and positioning Lucky Strike Entertainment as a premier entertainment destination."

The statement also said the company plans to transform more than 75 Bowleros into Lucky Strike locations within the next two years, including high-profile locations such as Bowlero Chelsea Piers in New York City.

Lucky Strike Sayville is open:

Monday: 4 to 11 p.m.

Tuesday: Noon to 11 pm.

Wednesday: 4 to 11 p.m.

Thursday: 4 to 11 p.m.

Friday: 11 a.m. to midnight

Saturday: Noon to midnight

Sunday: Noon to 10 p.m.

Lucky Strike representatives were not immediately available for comment.
