According to Ryan Thorman, Bayport native and Bango CEO and founder, "it's likely going to take a little while for permits and construction" before the doors open.
Thorman, who still resides in his hometown with his wife and three children, said that he won't own the the Bayport Bango himself, as it will be a franchise-owned location.

"This will be our tenth Bango location with more to come," he added.
The Bayport cafe is one of three new locations opening on Long Island, including two others in Plainview and Centereach. There are currently seven up and running Bango locations in Bay Shore, Hauppauge East Setauket, Massapequa Park, New Hyde Park, Scarsdale and Larchmont.
Thorman told Patch that all Bango Bowls "fall under the umbrella of Upstream Hospitality, which also owns all of the Tap Rooms on Long Island."
