Phantoms Gearing Up for First Playoff Round Saturday
Bayport-Blue Point rallied hard in last league game but fell to Mt. Sinai in final minute of play.
The Phantoms football team came up short after an exciting, hard fought game against a tough Mt. Sinai opponent this weekend.
After rallying from a 14-0 deficit, the Phantoms tied the score at 21-21. Mt. Sinai connected on the eventual game winning field goal with 51 seconds left to play.
Quarterback Brendan Bateman connected with Matt McKinnon on a 23-yard pass and ran for 20-yard touchdown. George Ringer also added a 25-yard run.

The Phantoms travel to John Glenn on Saturday for a first round playoff game. Game time is 1 p.m.
