Sayville Panera Bread Participating in Hunger Fight Campaign

Get a free breakfast coupon by wearing orange when you visit Panera this week.

Panera Bread in the Sayville Commons shopping center on Sunrise Highway in Sayville is in the midst of a week-long campaign as part of Hunger Action MonthTM, to engage its guests in the fight against hunger.

Orange shortbread and a free breakfast is Panera Bread’s way of saying thank you to guests who want to help. By wearing orange (the color of hunger action) to any Long Island Panera Bread café between now and September 22 or mentioning the name “Island Harvest” at the register, guests making a food purchase will receive a free orange shortbread cookie along with a coupon for a free breakfast sandwich to use on a future visit.

More importantly, participants will receive a flyer that directs their attention to the problem of hunger that exists right here on Long Island and suggests simple ways to help become part of the solution.
