BOHEMIA, NY — A social media post published years ago stirred concern at Connetquot High School on Thursday, causing the school to conduct a controlled lock out and a police investigation.

The district conducted a controlled lock out at the high school, located at 198 7th St in Bohemia, in reaction to the social media post, a representative confirmed with Patch. All outdoor activities were moved inside out of an abundance of caution.

Suffolk County Police investigated the post and determined it was not a credible threat, as the post was published some time ago.
