Student Brings Bullet To West Sayville Elementary School: Police
The principal notified officials after learning about the bullet, police say.
WEST SAYVILLE, NY - Suffolk County Police are investigating an incident during which a child brought a bullet to a West Sayville elementary school on Wednesday.
The 9-year-old brought a bullet to Cherry Avenue Elementary School, police said.
The principal was then notified and contacted police.
The bullet was memorabilia belonging to a family member and the child did not have criminal intent, and no threats were made, police said.
