The Wharf In Oakdale Becomes 'Waterfront Wonderland' Venue

OAKDALE, NY — A Long Island restaurant group is now operating an innovative "waterfront wonderland" for weddings and special events.

Lily Flanagan's Restaurant Group, which took over The Wharf in Oakdale in May 2020, upgraded the business to include three sprawling paved patios, an outdoor bar, fireplaces and two party tents with room for up to 250 guests to eat, drink and dance, Greater Long Island reported.

The property has already hosted 10 weddings, complete with panoramic views of the river, Great South Bay and Fire Island.

The river boat dock, also provides for a gorgeous natural backdrop for nuptials.

Parties also have the option to book the whole space, which includes the indoors for cocktail hours or after-parties, or celebrate solely outside, Greater Long Island reported.
