This week, there is some big news coming from Sayville Patch. One announcement scheduled for later in the week will unveil specifics on a holiday lights contest that could put $100,000 in the pockets of local schools. With budget cuts expected in the coming year, some additional cash would undoubtedly be welcomed by the school district. The other announcement will remain under wraps until mid-week.
